Problem:What does CL in the manufacturer's specification mean?

Reply:It refers to the load capacitance added when making the oscillator, so when using the oscillator circuit, it is necessary to add equal capacitive reactance, so that the oscillation frequency will be accurate.


Problem:What is PPM and how is it calculated?
Reply:Part Per Million means the frequency jitter value of one part per million; the ppm value is obtained by subtracting the target frequency from the actual frequency and then dividing by the target frequency and moving the decimal point back by six digits.

Example: The target frequency is 25.000000MHz, and the actual frequency is 25.000015MHz (25.000015-25.000000)/25.000000=0.0000006. Move the decimal point back by six digits, that is, 0.6ppm.


Problem:What impact will low power design have on the oscillator?

Reply:Simply put, when designing a high-frequency OSCILLATOR, you will face the amplifier's low high-frequency gain and high CRYSTAL equivalent resistance.


Problem:Why can't the crystal vibrator and quartz oscillator fall?

Reply:Because the thickness of the crystal vibrator's wafer is very thin. Take 25Mhz as an example. Its thickness is about 0.0668mm. If it falls, it will cause chip fragmentation and other factors.


Problem:Why use a crystal vibrator as an oscillator?

Reply:Because the oscillating frequency produced by it is more accurate and stable than other oscillating components, and easy design and simple circuit are its biggest advantages.
